Starting from the hotel walking and hiking trails lead directly into Trudner Horn Nature Park. In the Nature Park you will discover a rich diversity of flora and fauna along the trailside. The Special Part: Here you find both the typical alpien vegetation along with sub-mediterranean scrub forest of downy oaks, black hornbeam and manna ashes. Holly and butcher's broom can also be found here. On fields of larch you find rare blossoms of soldanella's crocus, tiger lilies and Turkish lilies.
At 1,817 metres Trudner Horn is the highest mountain in the immediate vicinity. The moor landscapes are also impressive, along Weissensee, Schwarzsee and on the Langen Moos. For interested visitors, the Nature Park House at Trudner Horn, located in an old grain elevator/mill, offers extensive information about the local plants and animals.
