As early as 1687, the ancestors of the March family built a country inn for travellers on the route from Egna to the Dolomites. In 1896, the premises was first officially recorded as a horse-changing station. Today, five generations later, the philosophy of personal care and heartfelt hospitality continues unchanged.
Thomas March, his wife Silvia, his sister Alexandra, and his parents Lisi and Herbert warmly welcome you to Tenz. Alongside their dedicated, professional, and attentive team, who manage the kitchen, service, reception, and housekeeping, they cultivate an environment where everyone feels instantly at home and looked after. Tradition, warmth, and a keen sensitivity to guests’ needs shape every moment at Hotel Tenz.
After its refurbishment in 2025, Hotel Tenz combines homely warmth with modern comforts to perfection. Light wooden furniture and hand-crafted details meet modern oak floors, soft natural and sandy tones, and Bordeaux accents.
